Bob is the founder of Robert F. Fahey Jr. & Associates. He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute and Canisius College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Bob began his accounting career at KPMG, an international tax and accounting firm, where he earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
After four years in public accounting, Bob joined the National Life Insurance Agency / Equity Services as an insurance and financial services representative. During this time, he quickly obtained both his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations.
In his early years in the business, Bob also became proficient in the complex areas of business qualified retirement plans.
In 1999, Bob began Robert F. Fahey Jr. & Associates, an independent financial and business services firm now located in Williamsville, NY. Bob is actively involved in the financial services community and other volunteer organizations including:
- Past President of the Buffalo Chapter of Society of Financial Services Professionals
- Member of the Estate Analysts of Western New York
- Active in Men’s Ministry at Christ the King Church and other organizations
Bob lives in Snyder with his wife Maureen. They enjoy spending time with their four children, their spouses, and their young grandchildren. Bob is a lifelong tennis player and golfer and shares these enthusiasms with his sons and son-in-law.
